CPD II Presentation Showcase - Critical Reflection (Ready for Comments)

A total of nine teams were chosen to represent their class at the CPD II Presentation Showcase. From the showcase, it was evident that all chosen team came prepared for the presentation as they were able to carry themselves in getting their intended message across to the audience.

With regards to the excellent presentation that I have observed, I would be choosing Big Hero 4 as the team which stood out from the rest of the competing teams. The presenters were able to deliver their points across to the audience in a clear and concise manner through the various aids and the choice of words used. While presenting, the members were able to articulate clearly and managed to pace themselves at an appropriate speed such that the audience are able to understand them. Furthermore, the team did well in the area of non-verbal cues as they avoided things such as fidgeting.

The video presented by Big Hero 4 was also well edited and easy to understand. Touching on the issue of bullying in the hospitality industry, it is an issue that we can relate to, either through our own experience or seeing it taking place, be it major or minor incidents.

In summary, with the combination of all the factors mentioned above, I personally feel that Big Hero 4 had done well and made a compelling presentation in talking about the issue of workplace bullying. The solutions offered were also convincing in overcoming the problem raised and appropriate in the situation enacted.
